Abstract
Blaise Pascal je poznat po izreci: „Bog Abrahama, Izaka i Jakova, a ne Bog filozofa i učenjaka!“. Je li Bog filozofije kojega ljudski razum može misliti ujedno i Bog koji je objavljen u Bibliji? Upravo u ovome radu promišljat ćemo o odnosu Boga kako je shvaćen u filozofiji i Boga kako ga je shvatila kršćanska vjera i to u svjetlu obraćenja znanstvenika i katoličkog intelektualca Blaisea Pascala. Autor će najprije obrazložiti filozofem za koji je zaslužan Blaise Pascal, a potom će pokušati odgovoriti na pitanje: „Na što se misli pod Bog filozofa?“. Nakon toga autor će navesti istaknute oznake kršćanskog govora o Bogu, prvenstveno nauk o Trojstvu, Božjeg stvaranja, Božje osobnosti i Božjeg utjelovljenja. Za shvaćanje teme bitno je shvatiti i okruženje u kojem se nalazilo rano kršćanstvo, a to je helenizirani svijet u kojemu je filozofija bila jako važna. U zadnjem poglavlju autor promišlja o susretu kršćanstva i filozofije te njihovom različitom shvaćanja pojma logos. Potonji pojam služi kao spona između filozofskog shvaćanja Boga i kršćanskog shvaćanja Boga gdje se pojam logosa identificirao sa Bogočovjekom – Isusom Kristom.
Abstract (english)
Blaise Pascal is known for the saying: "God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, not God of philosophers and scholars!". Is the God of philosophy that human reason can think of, the same God revealed in the Bible? In this paper, we will reflect on the relationship between God as understood in philosophy and God as understood by the Christian faith in the light of the conversion of the scientist and catholic intellectual Blaise Pascal. The author will first explain the intellectual problem Blaise Pascal is responsible for, and then try to answer the question: "What is meant by the God of philosophers?". The author will then list the prominent features of the Christian discourse on God, primarily the doctrine of the Trinity, God's creation, God's personality, and God's incarnation. To understand the topic, it is important to understand the environment in which early Christianity found itself, and that is the hellenized world in which philosophy was very important. In the last chapter, the author reflects on the meeting of Christianity and philosophy and their different understandings of the concept of logos. The concept serves as a link between the philosophical understanding of God and the Christian understanding of God where the concept of logos is identified with the God-man - Jesus Christ.
